Fako Pharmaceuticals Inc. , with its experience of nearly 70 years, is one of the important entrepreneurial companies of the Turkish industry. Turgut Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a Turkish pharmaceutical company engaged in the development, production and commercialization of biotechnological drugs, as well as the commercialization of high-tech small molecules. Turgut Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1959 as Fako Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and has been one of the leaders of the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey for nearly sixty years. In 2006, the company was restructured under the name of Turgut Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and started to invest in biotechnology by establishing the Turgut Biotechnology Group in 2014. The main purpose of our company in the field of biotechnology is to develop, produce and commercialize high quality biotechnology products for the Turkish and global markets by establishing a biotechnology infrastructure in Turkey at international standards.
The company collaborated with the world's best service providers in the biotech manufacturing industry for the design of the plant and the supply of systems, equipment and materials. Turgut Gebze Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility, which was started to be built in 2016 to produce biopharmaceutical drugs by Turgut Pharmaceuticals, was established in an area of 15,157 m².
